It must have been fate that brought Alma Kubana together in September '22. "The first time we played together we felt like we'd been doing it our whole lives".

Alma Kubana started as a trio performing a wide repertoire of Cuban and Latin American music which goes from energetic and lively to introspective and musing. From lyrical ballads and traditional music to groovy salsas, there is a musical palette that transports the ear and body on an exotic journey at every performance. Some of their repertoire includes original compositions and famous works from different countries: like “Libertango” by Astor Piazzolla (Argentina), “Los muñecos” by Ignacio Cervantes (Cuba), “Andarele” (Ecuador), “Tico Tico No Fubá” (Brasil), “El diablo suelto” (Venezuela), “Jamaica Farewell” by Harry Belafonte (Jamaica), “Pájaro Campana” (Paraguay). As a group they play Latin Music to dance; styles as salsa, rumba, bachata, cha cha chá, danzón, bolero and more.
